Out of my entire trip in Europe (7 different cities) Alessandro Palace was the most expensive hostel and was by far the worst one. It definitely was not worth the price. The bathroom in my room had drainage problems which caused the room to smell like sewage. Apparently this was a problem that management knew about and yet they still put people in the room.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in a 4 person girls dorm. The staff was very nice and helpful. They would point out great places to see/eat etc. They spoke lots of differant languages. The rooms were air conditioned and clean. When I come back to Rome, i will definately stay here again.

this hostel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It is close to the main train station so it is easy to use any local transportation. I felt like all of my stuff was safe here because the front door was locked at all times. i would reccomend

That hostel is simply amazing, I totally loved the time I spent there, the people were very nice, the staff is helpful and sympathic.
I would definitly recommend that hostel to anyone who want to have fun in Roma! It is very clean and safe and easy to reach from the termini!

reading lights or any smaller lights in room would be nice. security lockers need a make-over. other than that, the room was nice and spacious and it's great to have an all girls room rather than mixed.

I've stayed here before and would do it again if I travel to Rome again. Staff is very helpful and the common room is a lot of fun. Close to the metro and train station.
