Other ppl comment on things like extra money here and there for things and the comon area shuts at 1030pm but its not much really at all, they do it for a good reson I guess - and besides this is the cheapest hostel in Zagreb anywayz so yeah.. I liked this hostel it was kool the staff were awsume and the location was good too and the price is sweet. I had a fun time and would def come back again - so book this one its good times - and they have a cheap BBQ every night which is great! Luke, from New Zealand ~ 3rd Sep 2009

This place has waaay to may rules and regulations - come on, it's Croatia, just chill out! Also there's a 7 kuna 'tourist tax' per person (not included in the price), a 100 kuna key deposit, a deposit to borrow guide books and a deposit to buy beer (which you can only drink from 7-10pm.) Having said that, dorms and bathrooms are very clean, and the latter are nice and private. About a 30min walk from the train station, 40min to main part of town. Paul, from Australia ~ 26th Aug 2009

We had few problems finding the hostel, cause we went left not right from the railway station, but otherwise our stay in the hostel was quite good. Staff was very friendly and internet worked well there. sini, from Finland ~ 8th Oct 2009

It is a nice hostel with all you really need for accommodation. If you're looking to get to know croatian culture and Zagreb you should think of this place. Really nice staff and helpful for food, directions, attractions or any recommendations. It has some rules but it's for safety and the well-being of guests. All in all Alibi hostel was not bad, but it had very few w.c. Besides, they were not very flexible concerning the paying of the stay (exactly at arrival and no euros allowed) Manuel, from Spain ~ 18th Aug 2009

Zagreb is very warm in the summer. So, the hostel owner, who is a really cool guy, drove all the guests to a nearby lake for a swim at 11 pm - in his mini van. That's hospitality! Poul-Louis, from Denmark ~ 21st Aug 2009

We had a nice stay at Lika. Only thing missing was the bar to open :) (It was closed because of the rain.) Location is good - right next to the tram. The rooms are nice but hot at night in the summertime. We can only give our best recommedations to Lika. Helle, from Denmark ~ 20th Jul 2009
