Good hostel in a quite zone of the city. Near the tram station, a few minute of tram and you're in the center of Zagreb. Staff very kind and friendly. Marco, from Italy ~ 5th Oct 2009

A bit out of town, but near tram station so not a massive problem. All three of the staff we met were really welcoming and friendly. Front door gets left open a lot, but rooms lock and big luggage lockers provided. Kitchen facilities not great, but nice lounge and dinning area. Would stay again.
Well, we feel the need to comment the comment: Dear city dwellers, especially you from urban leviathans like London, Paris etc, enjoy the break in Zagreb and leave your urbanoia behind, at least for a while! Our neighbourhood is safe, we are in a small cul-de-sac-like street, surrounded by people we know, with some we drink coffee together, and it happens that hostel guests end up invited to a party, or a nice, simple lunch, cup of tea, or a cookie or two! And we still have a lot of neighbourhoods around the city where people do not lock their doors at night, because it is simply safe. You are all welcome to Zagreb, wherever you come from and wherever you are going! Henry, Andriana & Igor, MM staff

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and even ordered us some take away as well as giving good information on what to do in the area. The hostel may seem a little out of the way but it is only a short tram ride from the center, would definitely recommend for anyone going to Zagreb, the rooms are comfortable and they have great facilities. Very atmospheric, the corridors are covered in beautiful murals of the solar system, forests, oceans.Lots of effort made with decor, big plus!Comfy common room, DVDs and big TV provided, several computers,sociable in common room. Location: a bit far out but v.near big tram terminal (10mins on tram frm station +5min walk) and huge supermarket.Signposted well. Member of staff in hostel 24/7.Rooms: v.clean, lockers but not per person,basic but nice. Safe is available for valuables.Recommended! Peter, from England ~ 11th Aug 2009
