Power plugs not working in the room: you have to charge your phone/camera/... at the front desk (or in the kitchen). Loud speakers (with music) in the room and no way to control them in the room. Cleaning of the rooms between 10 and 14h, so sleeping late is not an option. Good location, very safe, big kitchen. Ruben, from Belgium ~ 2nd Nov 2011

I've spent this hostel for two days. It was such a great stay. There are too many stairs inside the hostel so that it is easy to get lost first time. The kitchen and common area are huge! really it takes 15mins from the train station. CHULHOON, from South Korea ~ 9th Aug 2011

Esta bien ubicado, se puede caminar perfectamente hasta el centro y la estacion. El personal excelente!!!!! muy dispuestos a brindar ayuda e informacion. of course... the facilities, furniture, etc. of the hostel are very basic, but if you search a friendly, very clean, convenient and cheap way to stay in florence, this is it. i really enjoyed living on this side of the arno (oltrarno), it's less touristy. go to the brancacci chapel next to the hostel and to the piazza s. spirito in the evening.
