I need a contact to your head office so my attorney can send a letter notifying you about my civil rights plus many other violations American Youth Hostel staff made me feel like a crimminal and accused me of offensive activities. So please email me the contact dawnlake@aol.com you have people working at that hostel that need to be advised that they are not allowed to treat people like that.I am suing the hotel and two of it's security guards personally for the violation of privacy and harrasm Kim, from USA ~ 6th Feb 2012

It was an awesome place to stay in NYC because it 's very near subway station, and Hostel has a lot of opportunity to enjoy New york city. Overall, I appreciate the availability and efforts of the staff and property. However, the beds were just dreadful. Perhaps it's due to my own history of an occasional pinched nerve in my back, but after one night in my bed, I was having extreme pain in my spine - and I had to spend three nights in that bed. I would love to use the hostel again sometime, but I'll be sure to find some way to bring extra comforts so I don't face such extreme pain next time. Nichole, from USA ~ 29th Jan 2012

The hostel is amazing. The rooms are not exciting but very clean which is the most important thing. Everything else is amazingly clean and new. the tours which are offered are a great opportunity to meet others. The kitchen downstairs is very clean and equipped with stoves and microwaves, pots, plates and everything one needs. The subway is very close, easy to understand and easy to go everywhere. I saw a rat in room 409 while I was sleeping. I was really freaked out about the situation. I am just worried about the sanitation. I really enjoyed staying here, but this might change mind when I visit new york again. Jose, from USA ~ 13th Jan 2012
