Overall this was a good location for accessing all of downtown Seattle by foot.However, i would agree with prior comments that the surrounding neighborhood is sketchy and would not feel safe if you were walking alone.The Hostel was clean, the gender specific showers had times lights which means during the night about every 5 min you have to jump out and wave your arms around to turn them back on, embarrassing if someone else happens to walk in, but otherwise a good experience.I would stay here a Alicia, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2011

Great location for anything happening at the two Stadiums.Went down with 8 people from Vancouver for a Mariners Game and had a great time.Would be nice if there was somewhere to have a few beers in the Hostel though, did not know it was alcohol free when we booked. Actually the hotel and the website are cheating on the price. If you are not member of XX you need to pay extra 3 dollars to the hotel each night. They didn't state it clearly and the price on line is fake !!! Dian, from China ~ 22nd Jul 2011
