Hotel La Pace in Milan, Italy

This was just a room with beds, wardrobes and an ensuite with a very noisy toilet and tiny shower. Our stay here was disappointing. Our room was right on the stairwell and guests coming home late were loud and in the room above us we could hear the high heeled shoes moving around all night, which made sleeping difficult. We shared a room of 4 and had a great time! Breakfast was very good. Downstairs there is a small terasse you can enjoy (try spending hours drinking wine and talking). Downsides: it is 15 minutes by foot from the nearest metro station, which really sucks when you have your back pack on you. We tried to avoid flushing the toilet at night as the water system made a terrible loud sound a few seconds after flushing.
