Hotel Samrat in Mumbai, India

Pick-up service was little bit problematic, because we need to call them and wait quite long time. Room boy asked a lot of money: as we didn't have any local money in the first evening, we give him 2 USD + 5 EUR, what is more than 400 INR, what is very big tip, but he was still not satisfied. The hotel we stayed, was actually Hotel Singhs International because Samrat, next door, was under construction. The building was old and worn-out but the room was ok and pretty clean. Enough for us for a one night stay. Tv was new and working, thanks for that! The hotel is next to the Khar railway station and there are small shops and busy roads around it. If you don't expect too much this is cheap and ok hotel to stay. Pick-up and drop-off service to the airport is excellent. Hanna, from Finland ~ 16th Mar 2009
