Purtroppo sono molto scontento di questa guesthouse. Non tanto per l\'hotel di per se stesso ma per il fatto che avendo prenotato una doppia matrimoniale con finestra, mi sono trovato due letti separati con finestra sul corridoio. ANDREA, from Italy ~ 27th Aug 2009

The location of the Hutong Inn is what makes it. This whole area is a really incredible part of Beijing and definitely worth the visit. There is no where to lock your bags/things in the room, but the door uses key cards and the front will hold things for you. It isn't a typical hostel because most of the rooms are actual hotel rooms and just a couple are dorm style. With that being said, it is very clean and towels/mini soaps are provided. the condoms in the rooms were a bit strange for me to see when entering my room but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom is clean. the location was perfect for getting to locations of interest and the 8 quai for a map was more than worth it. the staff were extremely helpful. the biggget issue was that the hostel promises hbo and it didn't never worked during our 3 night stay. sarah, from USA ~ 9th Sep 2009

This inn is reasonably clean. The breakfast consists of toast, eggs, and watermelon. Street vendors selling cheap delicious eats are just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Subway station is about 15 minute walk from hotel. Free wi-fi in room; TV has several chanels in English as well as other European languages (in addition to the Chinese channels). Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There is no partition between the shower and the rest of bathroom which is normal in China
Thank you very much for you kind reviews.. In fact we have tried our best to make to bed more comfortable, for example: we add one more mattress to every bed than other hotels in Beijing!
