Kaneyoshi Ryokan, Namba Dotombori in Osaka, Japan

Nice Ryokan with about 15 rooms. We had a quite big japanese-style room with TV and aircondition, very clean. Furniture was not the newest, but still ok. Every morning the Futons were removed and green tea and japanese sweets were offered. It was a pitty that they had no garden. The public bath was quite small. Therefore I recommend to book with own bathroom. Free internet in the lobby. Staff was very very friendly and english speaking. Namba Area is central and lively, but not to loud at night. Not too close to the trains, but close enough. There were 2 other places in Soemoncho with the same address so I had some difficulty locating it. The room is pretty ordinary but cozy. One attendant there speaks English and was very helpful if you needed advice on where to go. Patricia, from USA ~ 10th May 2009
