I found the hostel a little "grungy". The common room/kitchen could be larger for the size of the hostel. Shower rooms could also be larger. The location is good for walking to all the main Berlin sites. I stayed 2 nights.

Good location in bohemian Prenzlauer-Berg, lots of cafés, small shops and bars right outside and a few u-banh stops to Mitte. Very friendly staff, room was quite clean, toilets and showers little messier but still ok.

Best hostel I stayed in during my trip throughout Europe for various reasons:
1.) Not expensive for what it offers
2.) Excellent common area with kitchen, free wifi, computers, television
3.) People actually meet in the common area...makes the experience a lot more fun
4.) Convenient bike rental service, great location for going to the Bars around Schoenhauser

Awesome property!!! Great for meeting fellow travellers. Free internet and not too far from the trains. I woul stay here again for sure!!
