i originally only planned to spend two nights in grenada but after the first night at the makuto hostel i extended my stay an additional two nights.the staff are funny and conversational, the dinners were good, and all the directions and suggestions for what to see were clear and accurate.the various public spaces are cool and casual, relaxing and social.before i booked there i read a complaint about the uphill climb and the cobblestone paths, but that seems ridiculous now because the location i damion, from USA ~ 1st Nov 2011

By far the favourite hostel of the trip.The staff are all incredibly friendly, fun and welcoming and will be sure to make you feel at home. The hosetl is also cleaned every day, and although some of the bunks can be a tight squeeze, it was all pretty comfortable.Loved the atmosphere of this place and will definitely stay again, as well as recommend it to anyone! Stunning hostel in Granada - very lively & fun, staff extremely nice & helpful, speak impeccable English wonderful room, colourful & inviting although lacking a bit of intimacy & hot water...:-) But people & character completely make up for it!!! Best hostel I ever stayed in! The different comfortable spaces they offer made mr bit want to leave the hostel itself. The staff is very personable and it is a very good place to meet other people travelling alone. You will get such a unique experience staying here - like a paradise!
