Great location, fairly safe neighbourhood. Facilities were very clean and breakfast was quite wholesome. Staff though were not helpful. Internet is expensive! Overall, I recommend it. James, from Australia ~ 23rd Nov 2009

location is great, staff is not friendly. here is your key, pay the money and see ya. I asked what things should I visit., answer just walk around. breakfast was good. but nothing to do in the hostel itself. some big insects in bathroom...... just go there for the location and spend time in the nice city!
HI, thank you for your review. Although we exterminate the entire building once a month, bugs might find their way in occasionally. This is not particular to our hostel, though, but rather a common problem in the big cities. The front desk and the housekeepers are always ready to help when this happens. It is very unusual that our front desk will treat a guest in the way you mentioned. We always try to do our best to satisfy our guests needs. However, we will address that issue anyway. We offer pub-crawls, pizza parties, and basketball games. We are sorry that you were not able to enjoy any of these fun activities. The Management,

All around, it's a pretty somewhat okay, decent place to stay. However, the street it's on can be very loud, so it can be difficult to sleep with all the honking, etc.. The bunk beds are also very flimsy. Every time you shift your place in bed, it shakes the other person around, and vice versa. This SUCKS! But everything else is good. Although the room was very clean, on my last night there I got up late at night to use the restroom, and there was a HUGE cockroach on the shower floor... HUGE :((.
We are sorry to hear that. Extermination is done monthly to avoid that kind of problems. Thank you for staying with us.

Nice hostel, only thing that I would suggest is that they get rid of those darn lockers where you have to pay to get into them each time. Either have rentals where you just have to pay a daily fee (not money each time you put stuff in and take things out!). If they really wanted to go the extra mile, have lockers in the rooms where you bring your own lock. But other than that, it was a safe place and very well maintained.
