Mittes Backpacker Hostel in Berlin, Germany

very nice and clean. the room i stayed in had about 40 beds in it and it was always clean. the reception was helpful except for a few employees but most of them were nice... the kitchen is an absolute disaster! DO NOT COOK IN IT OR USE IT. Jessica, from USA ~ 13th Jul 2009

So I was on the top floor and found out quickly that you can't leave any of your things out while your not there....this was easily the worst hostel I stayed in while in Berlin for the month...staff is decent but the fact that the lockers in the room are horrible makes this unenjoyable for my possessions and I...look elsewhere please Daniel, from USA ~ 24th May 2009

Was about 15 minute walk from the train station, which was ok, however its about 35-45minute walk to the central tourist areas. I stayed in a 32 bed dorm which was far too many beds, it was a huge room and if you actually wanted to sleep you probably had very little! You also have to pay for EVERYTHING, bed sheets at 2.50 per bed, pool/billiard table 1 euro per HALF HOUR, Internet at 1.50 per 15 minutes. I do not recommend at all.
