As long as you don't mind a lot of stairs it is a fine place to stay, with most of the staff being very helpful and welcoming. Location is very convenient to most anything you would want to do or see in Warsaw. Geoffrey, from USA ~ 27th Oct 2009

Fantastic hostel, one of the best we have stayed at in 5 months. Fun common room with wii, english tv and dvds. On our first night, they gave us popcorn & a mad dog shot! Clean rooms with lockers. New World St. Hostel is overall excellent; nice and friendly staff (they made us pancakes for breakfast), very clean, good beds and a good central location. On the downside, there's only little warm water for showers and the hostel is located on a top floor with tiny windows. All in all, it's very recommendable. Simon Toft, from Denmark ~ 12th Aug 2009

grt staff recommended sights and eats. grt location easy access to everywhere. lockers for valuables. modern clean super facilities. tricky hot water, best follow others into shower when hot water is already available but cold showers not too bad for hot summer. grt quiet hours 11pm-7am. wondeful place. great location... took 5 minutes to get into old town, and the way there was filled with restaurants and street performers and stuff... weekends the street outside was closed for cars and there were events all along. the hostel was one of the cleanest we've seen and the staff helpful. This hostel is awesome. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and well organized. I strongly recommend this hostel to those who don't speak Polish (the staff give great advice on where to visit including pamphlets of suggested walks in English and also on transportation) and also for those who haven't visited Warsaw before - the location is excellent for sightseeing. The location is excellent right on the main road. Free laundry and Wifi. Clean toilet. However, we were misled by the description that we thought we would have free breakfast, but turn out it's only free for double room.
