Siamo arrivati e la nostra camera privata non era pronta. abbiamo passato la notte in una toppaia e l'acqua calda, asciugamani, coperte, cuscini non c'erano! Giorno dopo ci hanno dato la nostra camera, niente di eclatante, con acqua calda e tutto il resto. ritornerei? non so, definisco tutto scarso... mirela, from Italy ~ 30th Oct 2011

The private rooms are tiny and the beds are very uncomfortable.The walls are paper thin and you can literally hear everything that is going on in the hostel.It was extremely loud and really annoying throughout the entire night.There was no hot water for the showers and they were dirty as hell.The breakfast is awful.It was way to expensive for what they had to offer. I have been in many bad hostels so far but this place was the worst. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY and the staff is extremely rude. We have asked 3 times for our sheets. One guy told us that he will not make the bed but WE have to do that. Another one said "I will talk to him". It was like they did not know what they were doing. They said there is breakfast but the breakfast they were mentioning was like a garbage. Our door was knocked 4 times at night by some people, and i had to argue with one of Levent, from Turkey ~ 30th Oct 2011

Dear Rambla & Catalunya hostel, Do not adverstise that you offer breakfat if it's nothing more than warm milk with cereal and donated white bread and packaged croissants. And then to have the audacity to say that the kitchen is closed to cooking during breakfast hours? I will be taking my business somewhere else in the future. Beware fellow travelers, this hostel has tried to charge me an extra 6€ by booking in person instead of using this site saying that they don't operate by the Intern Christopher, from USA ~ 12th Oct 2011

It was good, only many people were stolen in the hostel. It looks like a normal thing in Barcelona, but the peole closed their things like PC in the cupboard and the keys have only the staff. I think it is a litle bit strange. Maria, from Estonia ~ 27th Sep 2011

We were in a "hall", it was a space between other room and the bathroom. the room and the toilette dosn't have any window and it was SUPER hot.YOU CAN'T SLEEP. No air conditionated. All doors were open, not very safe. The hostel isn't quiet and the staff allow the people make noise and talk loudly after 01.00 am. bad bad bad..... beds was extremly disgusting, peoples take beds of others people, no staff, no lockers (all breaks), no security, wifi off off.... Yes. The thing is that even for almost 300 euro, u still whant a clean, good hostel that offers more than just a bed some some poor breakfest. It's not clean, the rooms are hot as hell, the staff has no insight in questions you ask them, the bathrooms look like shit. Well, i think you are starting to get the picture!
