We were five ppl and got ourselves a dorm for 14, quite sweet. :D Only suggestion that came into my mind was that I would've appreciated a locked place where to put a backpack. We checked out but preferred leaving our stuff to hostel and pick them up right before leaving Riga. We left our stuff behind the info desk. They did stay there safely but a locked room or a locker would of course be nicer. Mikko, from Finland ~ 20th Apr 2009

Hotel was good and cheap. The location couldn't be better, but it's not the best place for a light sleeper as the walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbours quite well and some noise from the Mexican bar downstairs. We ended up having separate beds instead of a double one, but otherwise everything was ok. Kitchen is a big bonus for budget travellers. And at least when we were there, it was possible to pay with a credit card. Markus, from Finland ~ 10th Jan 2009

The location of this hostel is perfect: right in the middle of the historic centre. Our room was very good too. We stayed with four men in room 11, which had its own bathroom. And that for only 6 euro's per night! The staff was correct and friendly, but apparently not able to smile. But that's a general problem in Riga. During our stay we didn't meet anyone who smiled.
