Fantastic location - nice area, quiet, scenic but very close to lots of things. Extremely helpful and friendly staff - 6 or 7 different persons were able to provide good tips on things like finding a nice cafe, navigating the city and how/where to rent a bike.

A really nice place to stay and very clean. Very kind stuff. If you want to stay over weekend I sugest you to book the room as soon as possible to be sure you have a great place to stay for not so much money.

Very clean hostel. The free breakfast was great. Close to the Anne Frank house. A little bit of a walk from the central station, but you can take a tram.

This is a very nice hostel! The only drawback is that it is about 20-30 min walk from the city centre and the Centraal Station, but the trams are around the corner to take you anywhere. The place is very quiet, as it is in a residential area, so perfect for relaxing and sleeping in! They have a cafe downstairs too.
Make sure you go for breakfast!!! Pancakes and jam! One of the best I've had in Europe :) It is a good place for people of any age, and being a Christian hostel will not mean anyt

Shelter Jordaan was an excellent hostel. Facilities were clean and the beds were good. Staff were friendly and quick to help. It was about a 20 minute walk from Centraal Station, and is situated in a quiet neighborhood.

clean, well-run hostel, but strong emphasis on being Christian (bible study, nightly prayers etc). If you like that it is a great hostel, but if religion is not your cup of tea I suggest thinking carefully about staying here.
