The 5 Star Hostel was the perfect place for us to stay in Florence. It is located in a 1000 year old palace and is one of the most interesting places we've ever stayed. It is also very clean, and located in a safe, fun, area of the city, within 5 minutes walk from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and museums. Lastly, the staff are so friendly and helpful - they even make breakfast for you themselves - that we invited them to come stay with us in the U.S.!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gave tips on where to eat and shop for quality affordable Italian food. The breakfast was better than any other hostel I have ever stayed at; they even made eggs and sandwiches for those who wanted them. The hostel has a great location and is in a very cool building.

Sadek, the Manager couldn't have been nicer, more accomodating, or more pleasant! Everyone had left notes saying how fantastic he was. He booked tours for us, fixed breakfast, carried luggage. He was a great host!

I liked the location a lot and the room had a window and was lovely. The street outside the room was loud and so if you're a light sleeper then it would be uncomfortable. The staff was only one guy and he was odd; he was no where to be found at times and particularly when we went to check out. We didn't know where to leave the keys and so we left him a note with our numbers and left our luggage in the room to go and grab lunch. When we returned he was upset and told us we were making him "loo
