I was kinda ambivalent when I first enter the hostel. The manager of the premise is quite friendly but the reception area and common area is poorly lit with old furnitures and TV set. I was shown to a room where the door is just a piece of wood with hinges, without any handle or lock. It cannot be closed properly. There was no proper hangers to hang my towel in the shower. Floor boards are old and creaky. Overall, the stay is rather unpleasant although the staff is quite friendly. timothy, from Singapore ~ 7th Feb 2012

A fantastic hostel with a friendly, helpful owner, Suzy, who gives hints and travel tips to all that pass through. Highly recommended for its relaxed, sociable atmosphere. Anthony, from England ~ 2nd Oct 2011

Suzy is an amazing host, who takes care of your laundry better than your mum. Location is very central. We had a wonderful time here! Tobias, from Germany ~ 30th Sep 2011

Great location - good staff. Helpful and reliable.Breakfast small but adequate, kitchen okay. Mixed dorm is a nightmare - people coming and going all night...Impossible to sleep.Book a private room! The A/C was on, but not very strong - so very hot. Bathroom was disgusting... Jennifer, from Canada ~ 23rd Jul 2011

We absolutely loved this place. The owners were really friendly and always willing to help.It was so straight forward to get into the city centre and The Petronas twin towers were in walking distance. It was also great to have complimentary breakfast. Lisa, from New Zealand ~ 21st Jul 2011

Recommend for the cheap and easy going type travelers who are looking for somewhere convenient to stay. But be ready that even with single rooms it could be quite noisy since sound insulation is not that great and there are shared bathrooms only. Not all rooms are ACed so make sure you know what room you're getting. Shower+toilet are together so that could be inconvenient. However, I feel very safe in the hostel compare to other ones I saw near-by. Suzie the owner is great and is really managing nai-tien, from Taiwan ~ 26th Apr 2011

While Suzie was lovely and helpful, that wasn't enough to make up for the mosquitos, creaky floorboards, and only one working shower for the whole second floor. The atmosphere is quiet almost too quiet and the whole place was rather gloomy and in need of renovation. Leili, from USA ~ 29th Mar 2011

Very cool Hostel in a central location but on a side street, so not too noisy, seconds away from many restaurants and close enogh to walk to KLCC. Staff very friendly, Suzy has all the information you could possibly want and then some. Comfortable beds AC at night and plenty of books on travel. Would definately recomend and could think of nowhere else to stay if I'm ever back in KL. Hamish, from New Zealand ~ 13th Mar 2011
