The lamp outside near the door didn´t work. Maybe because of that some people knocked on the door and scared my mother. There were some little bugs in our room. Exsept that everything was super! One receptionist (the guy with long hair who was talking very fast) was very helpful. He explained us what do to and where to go in Venice, told us about the Venice Rolling Card and proposed a very convenient way how to get our luggage not far away from the train station. 15 min away from venice on a shuttle for 2.50 euro sometimes arrives early and leaves without you. enployees did try to help us out to their best ability hovever i would suggust paying more for a closter hostel but this was a nice hotel with towels and hand soap and a tv Shannon, from USA ~ 17th Jul 2009

Location: buses run infrequently from this area to Venice and traveling by bus prooved to be quite challenging and time-consuming Fun: they advertise a bar downstairs but I went down there and there was not one person there...not even a bar tender. Internet costs 3 euro for half hour, 5 euro for hour. Cleanliness: Bathroom floors were not clean and overall the hotel did not feel very clean Sandy, from USA ~ 28th May 2009

This hostel was great! So beautiful and the staff was very helpful. A couple of things to keep in mind: Call right when you arrive at the train station to get the van to the hostel, it's also 2,50 eur/person. If you don't do this and take the bus you will be on the bus for quite a while. It is very convenient as it drops you off quite close but still not the best option. This hostel is about 20 minutes outside of Venice in the suburb of Mestre. NOT actually on the island of Venice itself. Denise, from USA ~ 22nd May 2009

it was a great place to stay, the restaurant was expensive that was attached but the staff was awesome and told us exactly where to tour. it was quiet so i didnt mind the twenty minute ride on the bus to town. Kalee, from Canada ~ 26th Mar 2009
