Wellywood Backpackers is located pretty much in the heart of Downtown Wellington, within walking distance to groceries, some crucial bus stops, and bars. Internet and a kitchen are provided for free upstairs, as well as entertainment rooms. In general, a fantastic hostel. Matthew, from Canada ~ 29th Sep 2011

The hostel was in a great downtown location central to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the walls were thin so you could hear everything in the building. Bring earplugs and this is a great hostel Ken, from USA ~ 10th Aug 2011

The guy at reception was really nice. I left my phone in the room and they had it when I scrambled back. The kitchen is much cleaner than other hostels I have been to and people were friendly in both my room and the main room. It's not for the type looking for a small cozy hostel, but its super central to the city, bustling and clean. My dorm was quiet for being such a big hostel. Only thing I would improve is the showers.
