Wombats City Hostel Vienna- The Base A Sydney, Austria

Everything was clean, staff was very nice, the hostel is located about 10 minutes of walk from one of the main train and underground stations, no problem to find it with simple using a map :) The best choise for low cost travelling :) Jana, from Czech Republic ~ 21st Dec 2011

I can use living room and woombar freely. There is always clean, friendly staff, It is perfect. but,Location is bad. I spend so many time to find this hostel, actually You cant find easily Wombat place from west station and the staff of Wombat place make you know where is Wombat the base. even he explained, I had a trouble finding there-.- anyway, I recommed this hostel! the barman could of bee ncer, but besides that thee staff was excellent. \i enjoyed the stay and the hosel very much. I would say one thing - the prices are a bit too high compared to other places that offer breakfast included with that price. the welcome drink is nice - but to buy alcohol in the bar is almost as expensive as the local pubs.... disappointing Ariel, from Israel ~ 5th Dec 2011

A bit far from centre (30 min walk, and 10 min walk to U-bahn) and located in a rougher part of town, but in good shape, clean rooms, excellent staff (very friendly and helpful). Quiet!! Even though there's a bar downstairs, on the second floor I could not hear a thing due to excellent sound controls. For the price, there is likely not anything better in Wien.
