I stayed in YHA wellington for 10 nights. It is my first time staying in the hostel so it is hard to compare with others. But I really enjoyed the stay. The staffs were all nice and friendly. They clean up the whole building everyday. So everywhere in the hostel is very clean..The kitchen was also very clean.. but I wished the knives were sharper^^ It was really hard to cut vegetables~ Except that everything were so nice~!! Large YHA in centre of Wellington, close to Te Papa. Good amenities and spent 8 days here. Not a party hostel but good for groups, couples and families. We had a double room which was small but OK. Extensive DVD collection and big screen to watch it on. Claire, from England ~ 7th Aug 2011

It is too bad that the FREE Breakfast (on the monday morning) ends at 9am (it\'s wrote in small print on the paper) and when I arrived at 9:11am ... no more bagel :( Too late :( When I booked on the hostels website, the price was 22,95$ plus 2$ fee but finally it was 27$ ..its change during the process ... strange ROSSIGNOL, from France ~ 3rd May 2011
