Although I enjoyed my stay the website specifically states that the staff speak English. However this is far from the truth, we encountered 3 different reception attendants during our stay and neither one spoke a word of English. This made discussing checkouts and organising airport transfers almost impossible. The website also states that you can organise surf lessons through them and although we emailed them several times before our arrival they did not reply.

The internet prices was less than the walk-in price. I liked it and would have stayed for a while but I need WiFi and they don't have it. Everyone was really nice and the place was clean and comfortable.

If you are a true backpacker and just need a place to crash this is a cheap option. The bathroom wasn't that clean and the beds are foam. the location is not that close to the center good if you are walking around during the day but I wouldn't want to walk around at night. Lima in general is not a pretty place. Also they charge $30 dollars to pick you up from the airport using green taxi. If you go to the green taxi stand in the airport on your own you'll pay $15 dollars for the same car.

Very good hostel, wished we could have stayed longer.
Overall it was a nice and safe place to stay. Just don't arrange transportation from the airport with them - I did, and they told me that they made a reservation with a taxi service for me and that it would cost $30. At the airport I found out no reservation was made, so I arranged my own transportation with the same taxi service (Green Taxi) for $15, but the owner of the lodge still made me pay $30 for the taxi service. Save yourself the money and arrange your own taxi from the airport.
