It takes a moment to realize why this place was chosen as loney planet's our pick. It makes more sense if you know that it used to be a museum. The rooms are very basic but very clean. The matrasses may be thin, but didn't prevent me from having a good night's sleep. The rhythmic beats of a not too close club could be an issue if you have a light sleep but this might be also true for other places in this area. The owner is very helpful and the location within Georgetown is great.

Really whacky building, with a ton of character. Not a great deal to do in the hostel but the staff make up for it.

It has an exotic Value as its 100+ yrs old as per the caretaker. But a little too scary and the room is tooo small. Its very warm when i visited in May. Very difficult to sleep unless u r really tired. Lot of noice from the nearby Disco. I doubt whether I will go back. There are airconditioned places at 45RM and hotels at 60. so y spend 25 and suffer?
