Luna Rossa was probably the best hostel we have visited so far. Staff was really helpful - they even washed our loundry and carried our heavy (about 35 kg) bags to our room. We truly recommend this hostel to anyone who is about to visit Florence.

Marco is just a fantastic host who will provide you with anything you could possibly need. This was the first hostel I ever stayed at and I wish I could say they were all this nice. He provides you with a computer for Heaven's sake.
Any hostel where a handsome Italian stallion carries your bag to your room will always get a top rating in my book! Excellent value, brilliant staff with helpful information, maps, restaurant recommendations etc, free internet (and computer) in room and a very unique, comfortable room. Superb accomodation in a fab city. We'll be back!
Probably the nicest hostel in Europe... flat screen tv's in everyroom... a computer in every room...they do your laundry for you for free... no joke!
