I was very pleased with this guesthouse. The owners are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and also have significant international experience. The house itself has more traditional architecture and is located in a quieter area of the city.

Xavier met us on time at the airport and was excellent assisting us arrange a tour and other flight tickets. His English and French is fantastic. However the cost of the room (US$26) in comparison to other similar hotels in the middle of District 1 we stayed at (US$17-$25) later is probably too high due to the location out of the city requiring transport, and the slight uncleanliness and general condition of the room. US$15-$18 would be more realistic. Otherwise, great hosts and very hospitable
