The family of Mr.Jithu and himself are very good and I had a wonderful time in Bikaner with them. They have been one of the most hospitable ones I have ever met during my trip to Rajasthan. Thank you Hostelworld for introducing me to them.

The family kept the room for us till 7 in the evening in high season, which we appreciated immensely since our scammy driver pretended not to know the address and wanted to take us somewhere else

It's amazing how Vinayak felt like home after just 1 night. We stayed a total of 2 nights and the family was extremely warm and hospitable, answering all our questions and helping us with all that we need. What a great place and family!

This is without doubt the most wonderful place to stay in all of Bikaner! A family runs the guesthouse and their focus is social service and community involvement and this informs every interaction at the house. They are honest (can be a rarity in India), informative, warm and friendly--they'll pick you up from the train station--they also have a driver available for hire who insists that however much you pay him is too much (again--astounding for India)-- and the food served in-house is nothing short of amazing. The guesthouse is very pretty, clean, well-furnished and the amenities are excellent. Bikaner can be a difficult place for westerners to find good (ie clean) food to eat and the house offers three home cooked meals a day for jaw-dropping-good prices. Get the aloo parantha. They're the best I've ever had! My husband, my friend and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vinayak Guest House and would recommend--rather, insist upon--it to any travelers coming to Bikaner!
