The host is fantastic, and very helpful. He ran a very relaxed and fun hostel. The only drawback is the distance from the train station.

Maurizio is incredibly friendly and we had a great night there, despite being nearly the only people! Theres not much around the hostel itself but its more or less self-contained. Good wine, good food, and good company!

The best hostel ever!!! Maurizio was really friendly and helpful and it was more like staying at somebody's home than anything - very relaxed atmosphere and great fun. We'll be back!

Was a great place to stay. The staff were really helpful and the ride to get the ferry was a great bonus! I would stay there again for sure!

Even if there were other hostels in Brindisi, I would absolutely reccommend Carpe Diem. This is the motto of the owner, Maurizio, and it shows in his enthusiasm per la vita! The hostel itself is clean, safe, fun, and charming, but it\'s the energy that Maurizio and his daughters bring that make a guest feel right at home. The espresso, drinks, pizza and laughs were delicious. I will definitely be back! Grazie Maurizio! Ciao!
