I stayed at the Four Seasons Bangkok and Le Meridien Plaza Athenee Bangkok after my stay at Refill Now and wish I just stayed put at Refill. It is by far the coolest, cleanest and most fabulous hostel at which I have EVER stayed. Just for reference: I have been hosteling since 1988.

This is one of the best hostels I ever stayed. Very nice and modern and felt very safe. The staff was very helpful and ensured to make our stay as pleasent as possible. The way the dorms are designed, it made me feel like I had my own private space and the huge lockers helped me keep my bed tidy. A bit far from the main attractions (you need to take a bus or taxi to the nearest Skytrain station) and I think prices were a little high for food. Quality was there, but I sometimes remained hungry after breakfast as portion some some dishes were a bit small for what you paid. It would have been nicer if the Wi-Fi was free of charge (as someone who had to work on her laptop, Wi-Fi was a must, and was the first time I was requested to pay for it). But other than that I really enjoyed my stay there.

Excellent ho(s)tel experience. A bit pricey in the end, but that's to be expected for a place like this. It was one of the best places I've stayed in all of my travels. The one major downside is location, it costs a bit to get there (taxis may try to rip you off once you arrive). Laundry service is really expensive. ($1+ per sock, for example). But overall it's really modern and clean, with great facilities. Good food as well.
5* hostel at a 2* price. For anyone wanting excellent, clean, friendly and social accommodation and don't want to pay $100's p/n - REFILL NOW must be looked at. The staff are excellent and the place is spotless. It is a little out of the way, but there is no noise from traffic or dirt/smog in the air - decent trade off. Highly recommended and we will be back when next in Bangkok...

Staff are great and knowledgeable and happy to help, but the location is too far out of downtown Bangkok. Cab rides, although cheap, are long due to the traffic so late at night can be a bit tedious The rooms are also a bit strange. I like to have a room to myself - but the 'walls' are screens that can be seen through and that don't stop any noise. They are also arranged around the toilet/shower area ... so if people come in late at night, get up early or just go to the loo ....... sleep is disturbed. Also - the lights are on in the sink area all night which would affect anyone who is a light sleeper.
