The owner and staff were very helpful and really nice! We had a great time in Aqaba thanks to the owner and his friends. We would gladly stay here again and can definately recommend this place!

This place was so cute. I would recommend it to others, however, it wasn't as clean as I would have preferred. They didn't clean the bathroom, (even though they told us they did.) Please bring mosquito spray, you will need it. The dive center is located in the complex which made it convenient to go snorkling. Wilma

Unfortunately, the room we booked wasn't available, althoug we got a confirmation. So we had to wait the whole afternoon until the manager got another couple to leave "our" room and stay in a little room without private bathroom.

If the purpose of your trip is diving / snorkelling, this place is right in front of a truly spectacular coral reef that amazed us. It has a diving center that can arrange anything. The A/C and a cool place for chilling out bedouin style are the good things. Among the bad things: The bed and pillows were stiff, the bathroom is probably the smallest and smelliest I've ever seen (you can wash your hands, sit in the toilet and shower at the same time), No TV and to get to Aqaba you need to pay around 5 JD for a taxi or 1JD to a bus for every trip.

The place had it's merits. Across from the beach (100m) and close to the dive shop (short car ride), and the rooms were respectable with AC and hot showers. The staff was rather cold and lifeless though; being a bunch of older men with blank stares. Not fun at all unless you managed to make your own. They overcharged dearly for everything, taking advantage of the fact they are so far out of town that unless you can get a ride in via taxi/hitching/bus you are stuck. That being said, if you need a ride to town simply walk to teh road and catch a bus or passing taxi (they are frequent) and you will pay well under half of what they will charge you if you ask the hostel to call a taxi for you!
