At first was quite amused by the fact that we were not in fact staying in a two bed en suite but rather on a pull out sofa bed on the floor of a kitchen. The staff were absolutely useless, there was hardly ever anyone with any kind of authority on reception and on our first night one guest was left outside ringing the doorbell for about twenty minutes, eventually let in bz another guest so had to spend the night-which he had paid for- asleep on the sofa in reception under a sheet. Furthermore it was impossible to find with absolutelÿ no clear sign whatsoever, walked past it a few times before we realised it was there. Was not very clean, in fact was just dirty. Bad times.

Don't go here! The walls between rooms don't connect with the ceiling, meaning that everyone can hear everything. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Several of the people were having problems with bugs biting them in the night which isn't surprizing seeing as the beds are just mattresses on the floor. It's cheap but in this case I would spend a little more and go somewhere else.

It is not on the down town area, but its close with the Metro or a 20-30 min walk. Only one issue, if you go with 3 people they will give you a big bed for 2 people and one little one. I had to ask them to change mine because it almost broke in the middle of the night. Other than that its ok..and Prague is really a GREAT CITY..one of the best in Europe, so go there and have fun

Cleanliness was awful. There were fleas in our beds and all over the walls at night. There is one kitchen for all of the floors, and one of the bathrooms was broken w/ no sign of an attempt to fix it. Would not recommend

We enjoyed our stay at Midtown Hostel. The only complaint would be the lack of showers in our floor. However the only bathroom containing a shower was a nice bathroom nonetheless. Either way, nice location - 3 min walk to metro, and about 10-15 min walk to city centre square.
