Eagle Land Guest House is a really cosy place to stay in. Our two bed room was SO nice. There were no heating in the room (as in the rest of Tibet) but instead there were the best electrical blankets which made your bed really warm and comfortable. We were the only two guests because of the low season, and it kind of felt like being part of the family (John and Jin) who owns the guest house. At the moment we got there we felt welcomed and were brought tea. One evening we were also invited to join John, Jin and their friends for dinner (for free of course!). The only thing we could've complained about (if we would have been picky) is maybe the location. It took a while to walk in to the center of Lhasa. But there are cheap taxis! The "service girl" was so nice, she did our laundry for free. We went on a tour for EBC, and when we came back to Lhasa again it really felt like coming home when we arrived at Eagle Land. They provide toast for breakfast for a small amount of money, and also brings you food from a small restaurant nearby. Lhasa was a great place, and we would definitely stay at Eagle Land Guest House if we go there again!

We were delighted with this hostel, which was a little quiet haven, about 10 minutes walk from the bustling Lhasa markets. The rooms were very neat and the owners were fantastic, and you could tell that they thoroughly enjoyed having visitors and really went out of their way to look after us. We were also able to do our washing free and also check our emails for free (as well as a free airport pick up)! The service provided was very friendly, helpful and professional. Great hostel which I have no hesitation recommending!

This hostel is just perfect if you have been travelling for a while ( great collection of DVD s, CD ... food + laundry ) Also if you want a bit of peace away from the centre of Lasha. We had a great moment with interesting discussions and more than helpful and lovely guest. I strongly recommand you this hostel. Thank John and Jinn we really enjoyed our stay :-)
