We had a great experience at the Gallery Hostel. The only area in which the hostel was lacking was the communal bathroom. Amenities like: larger bath towels, a hand towel in the bathroom, a bath mat, better hooks for towels in the bathroom, and a fixture for the shower head would have improved the experience.

Gallery Hostel is a set of spacious old apartments. The owner, Vladimir, is fantastic and although there is no full time reception he comes in every morning to do the cleaning so the place is always clean. There is free internet, washer and dryer and also a full kitchen. The only possible problem is that, if not staying in an ensuite room, there is only one bathroom shared between 3 rooms, but we never had a problem using it and it was always kept clean. Fantastic value place to stay.
A good, spacious hostel. The room was perfect and wouldn't look out of place in an expensive hotel. Well stocked kitchen also. The owners were very helpful. The only downside is that you need to go from the toilet to the shower room to wash your hands as there is no sink there. Otherwise, I recommend staying here. It's just a two minute walk to Wenceslas Sqaure, in the heart of Prague's city centre.

Definitely a good place to stay in Central Prague, we spent 5 nights here and it's somewhere I would consider staying in again. You have a lot of independence in this hostel and there are good kitchen facilities, as well as free Internet.
