I LOVED IT. The vibe you get when entering this hostel is really relaxed and down to earth - everyone (including myself) was walking around barefoot. The family is SO nice and willing to do anything for you - They washed my clothes, John secured all my tickets (with great discounts), his mom cooked, his brother took me to my cruise. I\\\'ve stayed many, many places in China but this hostel is definitely my favourite!

John's Cozy Nest Hostel is a great place to relax and enjoy your stay in Chongqing. I would definitely stay at this hostel again. John is extremely helpful with information about your travels, as well as very trustworthy when it comes to booking trips, transportation, accomodation, ect. throughout China. I'm glad that we stayed at this cozy hostel, and it made my short stay in Chongqing extra special.

John nest is truely the best hostel that I have ever stayed in. John is amazingly helpful and friendly, very good at arranging itinerary and booking tickets/cruises etc. A very good place to relax for a few days in a comfortable environment. We liked it so much that we delayed our cruise by a day just so that we could chill out here for an extra day! Johns really is a home away from home!
