I would absolutely come back to this hostel if I were to return to Montreal. It was very clean, private, and quiet despite its location being directly in the center of life in Montreal. All you had to do was walk out the front door to be in the hustle and bustle of the city. It's private so don't expect to meet people via the hostel, but it's really not an issue, it's very easy to meet people in the city. The owner was also extremely helpful and understanding, letting us arrive way after check i

The owner of the hotel is one of the most considerate person i have ever met. He took his time to explain us where to go and what activities to do as we were the first time visitors. We are definitely going back there whenever we go next time.

The best location you can get at a hostel in Montreal. You're right downtown, on the busiest street in the city! You even get a nice big balcony that overlooks the busy street! The owner was very helpful in showing us our way around, and he gave us very good tips on the best places to visit in Montreal. We were going to be late for our spa appointment when we got there since we got lost, so he even offered to give us a ride there in his car! We didn't see anyone else at the hostel (it's pr

Jak was helpful when we arrived, but we never saw him again as there was no one in reception. If you want to be in close proximity to downtown/shopping, the locale is good, but it's bit noisy. The room was tiny, not well ventilated. I felt safe, but if anything happened it would not have been easy to find assistance from the management. I think we should have received more for the price we paid.
