We were really disappointed to realize that the staff didn't wanted us to pay the price indicated on the web when we reserved the room but a higher price.

Despite the fact that we had to wait a long time before getting our room, and the fact that they didn't get the booking via hostels.com, we had a nice stay there. The rooms are clean and quiet, near the center (but far from the station).

Beautiful hotel and location on the canal, friendly people all round... Recommend this place to anyone, definately stay there again.

This is an okay place to stay if you are young and Czech, or are with a Czech or can speak some of the language yourself. If none of these things applies to you, I would suggest staying somewhere else. The alley leading up to the pension is a bit dark and creepy. Huge suspicious stain in our shower too.
This is a nice place in a lovely setting by the river. I had the disadvantage of staying during the off season, so the place was pretty much empty and I got a twin room to myself. Not much fun. The staff were nice, but don't speak a lot of English. Traditional Czech breakfast served in the attached restaurant - no cereal or toast here! Would stay again.
