It should mention that there is only two bathrooms in the hostel. As a shared bathroom sounds like you share it with maybe one or two other people and not with the WHOLE hostel!!! Other than that the stay was pleasant.

small rooms. not fun. ugly leaving-room. small bathroom. didnt enjoy staying. high price for what you get. the location is good but with the excellent MRT you can take a much better and cheaper hostel a little far away.

The location of Bugis is excellent. Bugis village is a neighborhood/area in the center of town. Within a block, you have the MRT subway station, the largest outdoor Asian market, cinemas, and other shopping malls. The hostel is clean, quiet and comfortable and the staff are friendly. The rooms are small but clean. If you have a lot of luggage, you'll have two long flights of stairs to climb. Then, you are buzzed in to the lobby with the security door (a little impersonal). The entrance is in the middle of a strip of stores. About 2 shops past the KFC opposite the MRT. You are literally in the middle of everything, but the hostel is reasonably quiet. I would stay there again if I didn't have a 'big hunking suitcase' to haul up and down the stairs. The best part is location, location, location and clean, quiet place to sleep.
