Changes and Cancellations
(a) We must receive a valid notice of cancellation of your booking in writing at queenstown@stayatbase.com. Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to day of arrival will be charged a 1 night cancellation fee. No shows will also be charged a 1 night cancellation fee. All remaining balances will be refunded in full less the non-refundable 2% booking fee
(b) Cancellations made 24-48 hours out from arrival date will be charged a fee equivalent to 10% of the value of the cancelled nights. Cancellations made throughout the duration of the booking will incur a 1 night cancellation fee plus a fee equivalent to 10% of the value of each remaining night. All remaining balances will be refunded in full less the non-refundable 2% booking fee.
(c) For a notice of cancellation to be valid, it must include the hostel name, reservation name, guest name and email address as these details appear on your confirmation of booking.
(d) All cancellation charges and refunds will be processed using the credit card via Money Direct used by you to make your booking. All refunds will be processed by us within 7 working days of the cancellation being received
(e) Any requested changes with respect to your booking, including check-in and check-out dates and configuration of accommodation, must be made directly with the hostel where you have booked your accommodation. The relevant hostel's contact details will be set out in your confirmation of booking. You acknowledge that all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request but there is no obligation or guarantee that your booking will be changed.
(f) Any requests for refunds must be made within 30 days of the arrival date, otherwise monies will be forfeited.
