Lama Temple International Youth Hostel is an attractive hostel located in Beijing's historic Dong Cheng district. We offer budget accommodation in private and dormitory rooms with comfortable beds and hot showers.
We are located just 30 metres from the nearest subway station and close to many bus stops, allowing quick and easy access to all the city-centre sights and the airport. As our name suggests, we are located very close to the Lama Temple.
We provide a number of guest facilities, including a bar, café and restaurant, a common room, bicycle rental and wireless internet access. We also offer a wide variety of tours to all the main sights, including the Great Wall.
Lama Temple is part of a group of hostels across China including the Nanjing Fuzimiao Youth Hostel and the beautifully situated Guilin Flowers Youth Hostel (both of which can be booked online through hostelworld.com). All three hostels are accredited by the YHA (Youth Hostel Association) and as such maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

It would be nice to indicate the coffee house near the hostel to have a cheap and delicious breakfast (well better than in this hostel and much cheaper) Tour desk helpful but very expensive for the great wall of china. It seems possible to have so much fun in this experience for a fourth of the price (the cable car should definitely be included and the guide is totally useless. The transportation is also too expensive, the best is to go by yourself to the wall) Apart from that : great stay Nicolas, from France ~ 17th Aug 2009
