Qian Men Hostel in Beijing, China

From its central location in downtown Beijing, Qianmen Hostel offers budget travelers a taste of Chinese history. We have 40 comfortable rooms housed in three traditional HuTong buildings dating back to 1875. Some are contemporary in design while others retain the original traditional décor of the Qing Dynasty, but all feature modern conveniences including a key-card entry system and air conditioning.

Our convenient location places us just a 2-minute walk from Tiananmen Square, close to the Forbidden City, the Chairman Mao Mausoleum, the Great Hall of the People, the 600-year-old Dashilar walking street, Liulichang arts and culture street and Beihai Park. Other attractions can be easily reached using the Qianmen bus and subway stations, just a few hundred metres from our hostel.

We have a restaurant serving western and Chinese cuisine, a bar and a TV room equipped with a DVD player. Free WiFi is available in the lobby. We can arrange a number of excursions to various locations from our tours desk, including the Great Wall, kung fu shows and Beijing opera performances.

We operate a 24-hour reception and check-in and have no lock-out or curfew. Check-out is 12pm.
