By Train - the hostel is a short 10 minute walk from Waverley Station. Exit Waverley Station onto Princes Street. Cross and turn right along Princes Street.
Turn left at the St James' shopping centre and walk along Leith Street to traffic lights outside John Lewis Shopping Centre and cross pedestrian crossing to the Omni Centre and walk down past the Playhouse Theatre, past the Planet Bar, and turn right at the the Taste of Italy Cafe at Picardy Place roundabout.
Continue past Dofos Pet Shop which is painted red to find the Art House Central Hostel at no. 8 Blenheim Place, EH75JH.
By Bus - from St Andrews Bus Station, the hostel is just a 5 minute walk. Exit the bus station onto York Place, walk along to traffic lights and cross over to the pub called the Street. Walk along Picardy Place and cross at traffic lights to Playhouse Theatre.
Walk down past the Planet Bar, and turn right at the the Taste of Italy Cafe at Picardy Place roundabout. Continue past Dofos Pet Shop which is painted red to find the Art House Central Hostel at no. 8 Blenheim Place, EH75JH. T
By Air - from Edinburgh Airport
Take the Airlink service 100 which runs 24 hours a day and takes approx 25 minutes from the airport to Waverley Bridge. Fare from 3.50 single or 6 return.

follow signs for the city centre & travel along Queen Street, onto York Place. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto London Road, then a sharp first right exit onto Blenheim Place and No. 8 is right there at the beginning of Blenheim Place which sits at the bottom of Royal Terrace. Art House Central Hostel at no. 8 Blenheim Place, EH75JH.
From the South & East -
follow the A1 towards the city centre approaching the city via Leith Walk along the A900. Continue along to London Road Roundabout and take the first left exit on to London Road then a sharp first right exit onto Blenheim Place and No. 8 is right there at the beginning of Blenheim Place which sits at the bottom of Royal Terrace. Please note we have parking at the rear of the hostel at Greenside End, enquire at reception about this please. There is also on-street parking facilities right outside the hostel. The nearest car park is situated at Greenside NCP, just a few minutes walk from the hostel on Blenheim Place. Art House Central Hostel at no. 8 Blenheim Place, EH75JH.
