ARRIVING BY TAOYUAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
A direct taxi is available, but the cost will be about NT1300 (US$45) without reservations or NT800 (US$28) if you reserve a few days ahead. It is much cheaper to take the alternatives to taxi:

Choose HIGH SPEED RAIL or BUS to Taipei Main Station
HIGH SPEED RAIL to Taipei Main Station:
Travel time is 35 minutes / NT190 (US$6.70) / 6AM-12AM
BUS to Taipei Main Station:
Travel time about 55 minutes / NT125 (US$4.30) / 6AM to 1AM

From Taipei Main Station choose TAXI or MRT
TAXI from Taipei Main Station to hostel:
Travel Time is 15 minutes / ~NT180 (US$6.20) / 24 hours
Taxis are the yellow cars outside waiting for you. Most do not speak english. Show them the address above. You can have them call us if there are any problems.
MRT (Metro) from Taipei Main Station to Dingxi MRT Station:
Travel Time is 15 minutes / NT30 (US$1) / 6AM-12AM
The MRT station is reachable underground, look for signs. You will have to transfer. Once at Dingxi MRT Station, leave Exit 2, turn left until you get to Wenhua Road. Turn left again and cross the street to Family Mart. We are on the door to the left of Family Mart.

ARRIVING BY SONGSHAN AIRPORT:

Choose TAXI or MRT (Metro)
TAXI direct to hostel:
Total travel time about 20 minutes / ~NT230 (US$8) / 24 hours

MRT (Metro) to Hostel:
Travel time about 20-30 minutes / NT30 (US$1) / 6AM-12AM
The MRT station is reachable right outside, look for signs. You will have to transfer twice. Once at Dingxi MRT Station, leave Exit 2, turn left until you get to Wenhua Road. Turn left again and cross the street to Family Mart. We are on the door to the left of Family Mart.
