Welcome to our Goldmarie.
In the heart of the Warschauerstr. at the hip borough Friedrichshain our house is the ideal starting point to explore Berlins day and nightlife. All of the major sightseeing attractions of this area are just a stone's throw away from Goldmarie. This includes the Oberbaumbruecke (with the most beautiful evening panorama view on the skyline of Berlin), the East-Side Gallery, the O2 Arena, the world-famous Berghain and other important attractions. Goldmarie itself is a unique combination of the old DDR Charme, a typical Berlin old building and the creative drive of Friedrichshain.
We accept Cash and Credit card. Payment is expected at arrival at Goldmariel. ATM is close by. Parking is available on side for a fee of 8,50 Euro per night and it is recommended by email to announce a parking space before arrival. Free Wifi is available in the reception area. In the opposite of our building is the Kaisers Supermarket which is open from Monday 7 am to Saturday midnight round the clock and covers most of the daily necessities. Breakfast is available in all the bars, coffees and restaurant close by to Goldmarie

Rude staff. Mostly Italian girls working there. They seem to like people from Italy and no one else. poor english and even german skills. Security is a joke. Buzz and tell them a random room number and you are in no one will look up as you walk past the reception. Check out 10 minutes late and you will loose key deposit(10E) Atmosphere nonexistent dirty rooms and unfriendly unservice minded will do their best to make you leave. nice location and cheap though Dan, from Denmark ~ 28th Apr 2013

The hostel was in a great location for the money. There were a lot of bums around, but also a lot of neat shops and cheap restaurants. Also, it is right across the street from a supermarket and a 5 minute walk from the train station. The staff was very helpful, even though sometimes they didn't seem willing. However, their 24 hour reception was very nice for coming in late. The bathrooms were very small but always clean and stocked with soap and toilet paper. Corey, from USA ~ 27th Apr 2013
