Recently opened, Urban Holiday Lofts offer a clean and safe environment featuring all-new big rooms.
We feature luxury linen and towels and nearly one bathroom for every two bedrooms. There is a choice of shared dorm rooms, private rooms with shared bathrooms and private rooms with their own private bathroom.
We also offer guests free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free internet lounge, free street parking, free transportation from all of Chicago’s airports, bus and train stations and free concierge services, all with our famous Midwestern friendliness.
We have transformed a 100-year-old warehouse into stylish lofts that deliver an authentic Chicago experience. We encourage social gathering and this is a great backdrop for meeting new people and having a great time.

Steps away from the city metro as well as countless restaurants, bars, clubs, cafés, shops, theatres, art galleries and live music venues, close to Chicago’s most popular destinations and easy to get to from airport, bus and train station.

Check-in from 14.00. Check-out before 11.00. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged for the first nights stay. Guests can pay with cash, debit or credit card. Breakfast included - bagels, cereal, oatmeal and toast. 16.4% tax will be added to list price. We do not accept guests from any zip code which begins with 606. Large groups are accepted but have further cancellation restrictions. Dorm guests must provide foreign passport or valid student ID.

The location is wonderful!This hostel is surrounded by so many great restaurants, bars and transportation stops.The staff is eager to point out the best spots.Urban Holiday Lofts was very clean, and provided a nice breakfast of bagels, cereal & milk.I booked a three-person room and found it to be quite cramped the room consisted of bunk beds (one full, one twin), a chair, and just enough floor space for our bags.The staff did let us know ahead of time, so we booked it at our own risk. Helpful, friendly evening staff checked me in/made sure room was ok. Nice look to the hostel, fresh linen. Bathroom was clean but needs more detail cleaning (grubby corners, dust, etc.). I needed ear plugs b/c of hostel guests being loud outside the front door at 2am, and b/c of guests having loud intimate encounter in nearby room!...maybe check-in brochure could emphasize "hostel guest manners"? But it's a good place to stay, fantastic neighborhood, roomy space, I'd stay again. Christine, from USA ~ 13th May 2013
