Great security and in the center of the area to be.We were there in the off-season, December and the hostels was not very full so that effected the "atmosphere" rating a little.Not a lot of other people to hang out with.But the staff and their friends were happy to hang out around the front desk.We felt very welcome and they had free coffee and tea in the common 24/7.The owner lives on site and is very conscientious of the quality of the experience.I would recommend to a friend. I was in a very tough spot the first several days of my stay here for many reasons, but this hostel was not one of them. They were understanding of my predicament and were extremely helpful in me getting back on my feet. Near Taksim square, this place has great proximity to city transportation and night life while maintaining an open, laid back atmosphere. The staff are very approachable and helpful.
