The location is about 15-20 minutes walk from the old town.That can be significant in the heat of the day.It was a bit of a pain to find that I could not take a taxi to or from the hostel but had to walk 142 stone steps to get to the main road.Be on notice though, everything in Dubrovnik is up stairs.One really good thing was that the showers had tremendous water pressure and plenty of hot water.No breakfast though.
