Il Caledonian Backpackers di Edinburg ha una collocazione stupenda: possiamo vantare una stupenda vista del Castello e ci troviamo a poca distanza a piedi dalle principali stazioni dei bus e dei treni, con una fermata del pullman diretto all'aereoporto ad appena pochi passi.
Le pareti di questo elegante edificio, poi, sono coperte da magnifici murales, che rallegrano i corridoi e le stanze, offrendo un'atmosfera davvero mozzafiato.
La reception e' aperta 24 ore al giorno, per la comodita' e la sicurezza dei nostri clienti, tanto che e' possibile effettuare il check-in a qualsiasi ora, non appena arrivate a Edinburgo!
La nostra collocazione, a meta' tra la citta' vecchia e la nuova, significa che i nostri clienti si troveranno a poca distanza non solo dai principali luoghi turistici di Edinburgo, ma anche dai migliori negozi, ristoranti, pub e locali notturni.
Boasting superb views of Edinburgh Castle, Caledonian Backpackers is perfectly located within walking distance of the main bus and train stations and with an airport bus stop only a few steps away. Our location between the old and the new towns means that guests are within walking distance not only of Edinburgh's main tourist attractions, but also all the best shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs.
We are a colourful property with dormitories and private rooms, and we welcome long and short-term stays.
We have both mixed and female-only dorms. Our rooms feature keycards for extra security, as well as in-room lockers - if you forget your own padlock, we sell them at reception, too. Linen and breakfast are included in the rates.
Facilities on offer include TV rooms, kitchens, Internet and Wi-Fi, beanbag cinema room, vending machines, free book swap, laundry services and a licensed bar which offers cheap drinks, live music, Wii and pool until the early morning.
We have a safe at reception as well if you'd like to store your passport or laptop. You're welcome to leave your luggage in our storage room after check-out while you wait for your flight/bus/train.
For you late sleepers, we serve breakfast until noon!
Please note that we do not permit guests under the age of 18.
We operate a 24-hour reception and we do not have a curfew. Check-out: 12:00 (midday). We do not accept guests under the age of 18. This is a non-smoking property. Photographic identification must be presented at check-in.

Haberme quedado en la habitacion de 36 camas fue la peor decisión, el staff muy x, una noche llegaron unos chicos borrachos hicieron el ruido del mundo y no dejaban dormir, varias personas les dijeron que por favor no hicieran tanto ruido pero lo seguian haciendo y al final el staff no hice nada. Yo no lo recomendaria y me quedaria en otro hostal sin pensarlo Camilo, from Colombia ~ 9th May 2013

The room I stayed in looked similar to the pictures of the metal bed frames. I stayed in a 14 mixed dorm. It was the middle of January and it bit cold throughout the hostel (bathrooms & hallway). The showers were hot- loved that. But the toilets in one restroom were all clogged. I went upstairs and those were clogged too and wouldnt flush. I enjoyed the fact they had computers available with internet and printing. I checked in at midnight & left at 6am. From what I saw, the culture was friendly. Julie, from USA ~ 27th Jan 2013
