Dar El Ma is a beautifully and lovingly restored traditional Moroccan house full of light, peaceful sounds, local colours and ornate detail.
Escape the dusty bustle of the souk to relax on our roof terrace, breathe the smell of fresh bread from the local bakery and listen out for the evocative sounds of the call to prayer. Too hot? Recline under the shady bamboo awning to watch the butterflies investigate the young fruit trees, or descend into the peaceful and deliciously cool interior of the house.
There are two palatial double bedrooms, both with single bed mezzanines reached by wooden ladders, a hammam style shower/bathroom, a large kitchen and a kitchenette, an office equipped with computer (internet), a roomy salon, a 'snug' (cosy Berber-cushioned downstairs mezzanine), two toilets, a utility room equipped with washing machine, two panoramic roof terraces - one with a rooftop barbeque and shower.

Wi-fi/internet and use of the washing machine is included, and the kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering. There are books, maps, boardgames, table football, comfy nooks and plenty of crannies, not to mention a lovely atmosphere....
Located in the middle of the medina, it's on a street that links conveniently through to both main streets and is opposite a hammam (traditional bath house) which is wonderful to experience - you'll feel wonderfully scrubbed and renewed!
Each room has a mezzanine area with a single bed for those who want to share room with a child.

Payment in cash on arrival is preferred, cards can be accepted via Paypal with an additional 3% charge.
Dar El Ma is situated in the medina, but with quick access to both main streets. However, as it is in the heart of the medina, it is difficult to find. It is HIGHLY IMPORTANT you email as soon as you have booked with your arrival details (Plane, train, bus? The time, and if you need a grand taxi from the airport or if you are going to get a Petite Taxi from somewhere else) otherwise it could result in a difficult arrival.
We can arrange for a grand taxi from the airport, or have our staff meet you, as you can always get a taxi to 'Ain Azliten' car park, just let us know when you plan to arrive so we can arrange to meet you.
It is HIGHLY IMPORTANT you email us with all know details of arrival on the day:- a) Method of transport - plane/bus/train/taxi etc b) Estimated time of arrival c) All contact information e.g. mobile numbers you will have with you on arrival. Please DO NOT assume you can find Dar El Ma easily yourself, also the house is not staffed 24hr so even if you think you can you main not gain entry, it is best you let us know the above details so we can arrange to meet you at Ain Azletten.
